As civic demonstrations continue around the world, we are emboldened by the protests and the calls for action to address the racial injustices and inequities in policing and Law Enforcement. These protests come at a time when our communities have been struggling even more because of the coronavirus. For too long black people have been subjected to abuse at the hands of those in power.
