just everyone. they know exactly what dots need to be connected, and they go out and they get the documents that they need. reporter: what is the problem with these documents? attorney allison albert said it was done to her client, diana and david jones, facing foreclosure on the home they ve lived in for 20 years. they have two documents executed within a week of filing with different information on them. different dates, different entities. reporter: their servicer would not comment, citing pending litigation. technicalities and mistakes. but diana says it s just wrong. in all honesty, you re taking away a person s home. there shouldn t be any room for mistakes not when you re putting a family on the street. reporter: foreclosure auditors say these mistakes are adding up wrongful foreclosures. the major banks declined to be interviewed. they hold congress that questionable practices were isolated and had been stopped.
