Conditions, tonight, on the verge of another strike. This one by kaiser workers impacting more than a dozen hospitals here in the bay area that will have a direct impact on patients. Both sides are at the negotiating table today. If no deal is reached 23,000 kaiser workers will walk off of the job for a 3day strike starting at 6 00 a. M. Tomorrow. These workers include nurses assistants, technicians, restory therapists, people that clean and disinfect rooms and much more. Today we are hearing from some of them. The cost of living is skyrocketing. I personally have been already pushed out of the silicone valley. I commute one hour and 45 minutes every morning, two hours in the pm. I have children that i have to support as i am sure the rest of my colleagues do. But with what we are getting paid it is not, not doing it. Never been this bad. You will find a 12 minute delay getting from the back of the backup into San Francisco. You can carpool always a great way to go, we find those lanes pretty virtually free and at the limit most mornings. Slow and go for a 40 minute ride up towards the livermore area from the Central Valley. An earlier big rig that lost a cargo container thats been cleared out the lanes so no delays through the dixon area. We did have a motorcycle down westbound 80 near cutting that is blocking a lane of traffic and we are starting to see areas of slow into richmond. No injuries involved, thats the good news. Hopefully they will get that out of lanes for the rest of your morning commute. Yes, recreational pot will soon be legal in california but in some in San Francisco some people dont want to see advertisements for it. At least not on muni. Reporter cal fire chief mike watson told residents going home will be tomorrow at the earliest. At the very very earliest. Reporter tonight the fire is burning south and east of Lake Berryessa. Where the fire is at right now, its very very remote. There arent really any homes right there right now. Reporter for the folks waiting to get pack to their places, it is just a matter of time. It is also early in what will be a long fire season. This is the second time in a year, and frankly its getting old. Reporter there have been nearly 7,000 acres burned. The fire is being attacked by 10 helicopters, four air tankers and 1300 firefighters who are working to get this fire contained. Right now
