Hurricane sandy is already starting to have a major impact on our area. President obama signed off an Emergency Declaration for maryland and one for the district. And this comes as schools are closed and federal workers are told to stay home. Amtrak has cancelled its southeast service. We want to get straight to meteorologist on where Hurricane Sandy is now. The one thing folks have been hearing about this for days and it is just beginning. Here are the headlines that i want everybody to focus on. The storm is beginning the worst of it around the washington area, that is the rains and wind t. Flooding will be tomorrow and the flood risk will continue for several days from small streems but also as winds kick into the south for folks around the bay. This is for several days. Terry mcsweeney is live there. What do we know this morning . Reporter right here at concord avenue, and the 680 northbound onramp in the bushes over there is where this body was found last evening. I was over there, we could zoom in, there are shopping carts loaded with stuff, there is what appears to be a homeless area where someone had been sleeping and also theres a nearby freeway over pass, looks like there is a homeless encampment under that. Having said that look at pictures from last night, deputies going through the bushes, they are going through looking for just about anything they can they could find they are not calling this a suspicious death they are just saying they have a body found out here in this area last night and a lot of deputies came out here to the Pleasant Hill area and looked and what we wer
