A similar testing site opened across the bay in oakland, along with First Responders and healthcare workers testing is also available from Grocery Store employees. And appointment is required. The site is located in the parking lot of the Henry J Kaiser convention center. United states has now seen more than 10,000 deaths from coronavirus, and 360,000 cases. Here in california, there have been at least 380 deaths, from the more than 16,000 cases. Specifically now to the bay area, santa clara today reported three more deaths, for a total of 39, and more than 1200 cases. Alameda, San Francisco and San Mateo County each have more than 500 cases. Getting around San Francisco is going to be more challenging in the weeks ahead. Muni is making drastic cuts to service in an effort to protect its writers. All of this comes as no testing sites are opening around the bay area. Cristina rendon own joins us with more on that story. Reporter oakland and San Francisco each opened testing sites today with a focus on frontline workers. Both cities say we need to take care of the people who take care of us. I apologize for the technical errors here but we can tell you that in oakland today, a drive through testing site opened at the Kaiser Convention Center parking lot on 10th st. And that is only for frontline workers. People who are in direct care jobs, so we are talking about those who work in healthcare, people who work at homeless shelters, and people who work in the food service industry.
