after 11 days, the hunt for inmate casey white and former corrections officer vicky white ended with a crash. only one shot was fired. the female suspect shot herself. the male suspect gave up. reporter: indiana sheriff says numerous weapons, wigs and $29,000 in cash were found inside the car. vicky white still had her service belt. handguns, semiautomatics, 9 millimeters so any one of these weapons could have been used to ambush our officers. reporter: police chased the pair in southern indiana after their car was spotted in a motel parking lot by evansville police officer. members of the task force basically ran the vehicle and pushed it into a ditch, we later found out had they not done that, the fugitive was going to engage in a shoot-out with law enforcement. reporter: the fugitive, casey
