Moments ago the coast guard identified the suspect as John Mccormick, no age or hometown given. They are trying to piece together what prompted this chase today. That 30foot sailboat is docked at the coast guard station in sausalito. It is unknown who owns the boat or whether it was stolen. There are no identifying markings on it.
