Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series asking prices have surged online, as Australians buy up remaining stocks of what is believed to be the last turbo diesel V8.
The recommended retail price (before on-road costs) for a Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series is between $80,996 (GX) and $131,896 (Horizon Limited Edition), however dealers and private sellers online are listing new and near-new LandCruisers for up to 55 per cent – or $63,000 more than the RRP.
In one example of a new Toyota LandCruiser in mid-grade VX trim – showing just 10 kilometres on the odometer – has an asking price of $160,000, almost $57,000 more than the RRP.
