KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed was replaced as the Malaysian Anti-Corruption chief commissioner to protect Datuk Seri Najib Razak from being investigated and charged in connection with the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal in 2016, the High Court heard.
KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here was told that the then Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed was replaced to protect Datuk Seri Najib Razak from being investigated and charged in connection with the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal in 2016.
