Correa, 30, was found guilty of one of the most cold-blooded crimes in recent memory and will be sentenced to life without possibility of release. Collaborating with his sister Ruth, Correa planned to swindle Matthew Lindquist, a 21-year old heroin addict, in a deal for safe containing Lindquist’s father’s guns. Lindquist, who was sickened by withdrawal, backed out of the deal and tired to run off, setting off hours of horror over the night of of December 19 and 20, days before Christmas in 2017.
A Hartford man who was on trial, accused of the triple murders of a husband, wife and their son in Griswold in December 2017, has been found guilty on 13 of 14.
