A Brisbane NFL player admits his life could have easily gone down the same path as the knife-wielding youths targeted in a new Queensland police campaign.
Jesse Williams, a retired First Nations NFL player who grew up on Brisbaneâs southside, is the face of a new campaign aimed at reducing knife crime among young people.

Williams played US college football at Alabama and was the Seattle Seahawkâs fifth-round pick in 2013, but was injured for two seasons, before being diagnosed with kidney cancer.
