Closure of a significant recycling center are almost fourth closure with the recycling center with the Market Street safeway. And so which is and i reported last week that there was a closure of the geary street safeway. And so this is escalating our need to sort of deal with this. And so, i have been in conversation with Jason Elliott to start looking at this as a comprehensive thing for the city to address. And some proposal to put forward to the state because this is a state law, and so, any unique things that we may need to do will have to be addressed sort of in that context of it being a state regulation. The task force has two meetings left and so, the last two meetings we will be setting forward some recommendations, and i will let you know what those are primarily we have been doing fact finding and getting some information, and the one thing that has happened which i thought to me which is sort of a key element of the direction to go in, that we can identify, and i hope with
Hold that meeting regarding the beacon street hill trail and to report back to hold that meeting with a community and to report back to us as soon as possible . I think that people in that neighborhood have been very patient. And i think that we should proceed to at least at minimum have a meeting out there and to try to bring some resolution to that item. Will you note that for my next Agenda Setting a meeting with the general manager . Thank you. Any other commissioners . Okay. So, 16 is Communications Public comment. Having gotten a waiver, so, i wanted to ask what our next steps are. And i particularly wanted to ask at the time we had that meeting. And i think at the time we applied, too, i asked the question about what are we doing to hold back on contracts or what is our plan to redirect the money that we had been required to set aside for transportation in sef . So, can we get a report on that . Sure. Commissioner wynns, obviously theres been multiple iterations since even that june meeting. So, staff is in the process now of actually pulling together a report that well bring to the board. And then theres a number of conversations not the least of which is with our administrator union, our Teacher Union about what the effects are going to be in terms of the evaluation process, which we all know its negotiated. We dont anticipate significant changes, but were going to enter into those conversations as well. So, well bring a comprehensive report about what the next steps are as we compile those.
Within 1560 days. Violations can take 3 years. We are well aware of that. Its up to Code Enforcement. They review all the notices of violations that are up in Code Enforcement. They are picking up the notices of violation that they feel should come up to directors hearing. Thats how they prioritize it. They look at them and see which one is the most pertinent to bring up to a hearing. Anyone want to comment on that . When presenting numbers, its a huge challenge to try and take any particular criteria, how do you present it because would it take for instance the directors hearing there. Those numbers reflect four hearings a month, particular exact addresses that appear on each of those 4 days for that month. But, even within those numbers, you take a particular case at the start of the month, it would show up in the first director hearing for that month as scheduled, but if it was continued for 3 weeks and a month, that same case would show up at the end of the month as a continued cas
Them not to cut them for the fire cuts keep them all open. Maybe the Firefighters Union will do Something Like that. And they would say, you know, supervisors you are actually spear heading a movement to help us in gaining the funding that we need. Please write or call the board right away. And that reporting would be captured whether or not the supervisors names were attached to it or not. And you know, it is kind of that would not be it is not associated with like a ballot measure or Something Like that, so there is actually no political reporting attached to this. I see. Does that answer your question . I think that it does. Basically, the same thing is endorsed. And i was thinking more fire house number 9 and they and there is a particular initiative or some ballot measure that is endorsed by these candidates already. And then you list that or those candidates who have endorsed this particular initiative to the fire house number nine and that will fall within this as well. Yes. It
