The system will send a text to 911 callers about their potential response times, or an update to any police report. “It sends texts to people that call us. It lets them know that their call has been entered into our CAD system. When I say CAD, it is our computer-aided dispatch system, Sergeant Franklyn Ortega said. People that call 911 in Pueblo will be added to a queue, and when police are in route, the caller will be notified.
