(ABC 6 News) - In Rochester, a special ceremony took place honoring high school seniors and recent graduates who have decided to serve their country in the Army.
Due to the pandemic, parents have been unable to attend their son or daughter s oath of enlistment ceremony.
The Army wanted to take the time and create a special event for Future Soldiers to be recognized with their families and loved ones. It s important for each one of the family members and loved ones to know we care we have their back we have a plan and it s not just about. them as a number it s about them as being and their future, says Sergeant First Class Brian Benge.
