A 25-year-old South Boston man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a September shooting that injured five people, including a young autistic girl, in the Franklin Field housing development in Dorchester, Boston police said.
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said Thursday that city authorities had worked closely with Emerson officials to “find every opportunity to participate in peaceful protest safely.”
Students at Emerson, Tufts, and MIT have been camping out since Sunday night, while Harvard students set up an encampment Wednesday in Harvard Yard, and a protest was forming at Northeastern on Thursday.
