his brother brandon at school before he deploys to afghanistan. army sergeant david bailey and his brother, brandon, are with us this morning to talk about it. good morning to you both. how are you guys? we re doing pretty good. usually these surprises are after one of the troops gets home, but brandon, you hadn t seen your brother in six months. what was it like when you got to see him in that surprise? i thought it was very amazing because i didn t think i was going to get to see him before he left for another year, so i thought it was it was a big surprise. and sergeant bailey, what prompted you to want to go to the junior high school to do this before your deployment? well, i kind of wanted to surprise him a little bit, but i didn t think it was going to be this big as far as me actually going up. i asked my mom to get a schedule for his school. i was going to surprise him in the classroom, and the next
