Jacksonville s citywide yard sale making a comeback

The citywide yard sale is returning after over a year hiatus next month.
Last year due to the pandemic, the yard sale did not happen as yard sale organizer and Ward 1 Alderman Eren Williams said.
She said she didn’t think it would be responsible. Many people traveled from different places like Missouri and it just wasn’t right time to hold the event, she said.
This is the second one that’s ever happened. The first one was back in 2019.
The idea to do a yard sale in Jacksonville came from a passion of going to yard sales she and her husband had, Williams said.
