A Russian couple in Serbia has opened their hotel to dozens of Ukrainians fleeing the war. They say the refugees are welcome to stay free of charge for as long as they need.
A Russian couple who have condemned their country's invasion of Ukraine have taken in refugees at their hotel in Serbia, an EU aspirant but traditional Russian ally that has wavered in condemning the Kremlin for its unprovoked attack.
Serbia's government has said that they are ready to accommodate refugees from Ukraine. However, NGO Asylum Protection Center has claimed that Serbia does currently not have enough places to accommodate all refugees who are expected to arrive.
