Homes in a Scappoose, Oregon neighborhood were again evacuated on Sunday as specialized teams continued to investigate a home where explosive hazards were found earlier this week.
An Oregon State Police Trooper first stopped a man identified as Richard Gundy-Hampton near his home in Scappoose on Friday. Police said he was a person of interest in a domestic violence incident that happened in Clackamas County. When the trooper first encountered Gundy-Hampton, they found evidence that he was in possession of meth, weapons, and had been potentially manufacturing a destructive/explosive device.
