A sessions court in Chennai on Wednesday rejected the bail application filed by Tamil Nadu Minister V Senthil Balaji folllowing his arrest in a money laundering case earlier this year.
The Madras High Court Tuesday observed that DMK leader V Senthil Balaji continuing in the State cabinet as minister without portfolio did not "augur well with the principles of Constitutional ethos on good governance.
A division bench of the Madras High Court on Tuesday delivered a split decision on the question of whether it can order the release of Tamil Nadu Minister, V Senthil Balaji, who was arrested in an ED case.
