Orcullo, 42, of Hawaii, was admitted to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach on Jan. 17 and transferred to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital on Jan. 29, according to a Navy statement Saturday. “We offer our condolences and join the Sailor’s family, friends and shipmates in mourning the loss of this Sailor,” the Navy said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.”

The Navy has identified a sailor assigned to an amphibious warship based in Norfolk, Va., who died on Friday from complications related to COVID-19.
Aviation Support Equipment Technician 1st Class Marcglenn L. Orcullo, age 42 of Hawai, assigned to USS
Wasp (LHD-1), was hospitalized on Jan. 17 at Sentara Princess Anne hospital in Virginia Beach, Va., and then transferred to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital on Jan. 29, according to ESG 2.
“We offer our condolences and join the sailor’s family, friends and shipmates in mourning the loss of this sailor. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time,” read a Friday statement.
