What you look at as a struggle or challenge in life, to Winnie it is almost nothing. She has hustled so much and she attributes her strength to that.

Our view:
We did it once and subdued Covid-19 in Uganda. Let us listen to the scientists; maintain social distance, wear facemasks and wash our hands. For the second wave is coming for the children as well.

Senior Two students are expected to return to school next week as government continues to slowly reopen schools.
The Senior Two students were originally expected back at the end of the month, but the date was revised following the departure of Senior Four and Senior Six students after completing their exams.
Primary 1 to 3 pupils will be the last batch to resume classes and are expected to return to school next month.

Primary 1-3 pupils will be the last batch to resume classes and are expected to return to school next month and study for only eight weeks, closing the term nearly at the same time as Senior Two students.

Summary
Insight. Sports is an integral part of a nation’s culture. Apart from the obvious employment opportunities, it is a great uniter of people. However, the industry in Uganda is still far from reaching its potential.

The Ugandan sports industry is badly in need of a boost. The relentless underwhelming performance in regional tournaments is a clear indication of an industry in limbo.
Once in a while, a lone star makes it on the world stage think -Halima Nakayi, Dorcus Inzikuru, Stephen Kiprotich and Joshua Cheptegei, only to remind us of what we can be and what potential we have.
