Police found 26-year-old Kunal Khera dead in his vehicle in a carpark at in Flat Bush s Barry Curtis Park on Saturday night.
Detective Senior Sergeant Natalie Nelson says after extensive enquiries, it s being referred to the Coroner.
She says his family in India are being updated and provided with as much support as possible.

Deceased Indian man Kunal Khera s last rites will be conducted at Anns Funeral Home in Wiri today evening (Wednesday, March 10), a source known to
the Indian Weekender confirmed. The ceremony will start at 4 p.m.
26-year-old Kunal Khera s body was found in a burning car in the parking space of Barry Curtis Park in Flat Bush, East Auckland, on Saturday, March 6.
Emergency services were called to the location at around 8:10 p.m. on Saturday when the public noticed smoke billowing of a vehicle in the public park.

The death of a car groomer is shrouded in mystery after his body was discovered in a burnt-out car.
Police are yet to establish why Kunal Khera, 26, was found in the burning car in a Flat Bush park in south-east Auckland about 8.10pm on Saturday night.
Mr Khera is from the city and had previously worked at the Rub-A-Dub Valet Carwash in Epsom, friend Kavrpal Singh said.
But Mr Singh said since 2019 the 26-year-old had left to work more than 1,000km away at Christchurch Airport and it is unclear what he would have been doing back in Auckland.
