Kaduna, May 6, 2021 Two organisations, Tax Justice Network and Christian Aid, said they would collaborate to ensure that taxes generated in Kaduna State were used in the service of the people.
The organisations said that the tax for service initiative was to promote progressive tax systems in the state.
Dr Saied Tafida, a member of the Tax Justice Network Steering Committee, made the disclosure at the opening of Kaduna State Tax Perception Survey Validation Meeting, in Kaduna on Thursday.
He explained that the survey was commissioned by the Tax Justice Network, funded by Christian Aid Nigeria, with support from Foreign Commonwealth Development Office.

The role of the Senior Programme Assessment and Analysis Officer is to ensure that assessment informs programme design and resource allocation, and that it is always conducted in a participatory manner in line with the Age, Gender and Diversity (AGD) and the accountability to Affected Populations (APP).

The Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC), based in Berlin, Germany, responds to IOM’s call for upgrading its capacity to collect and analyse migration data, and to develop closer partnerships with data providers and academic institutions. The centre acts as a data hub for decision-makers and practitioners seeking the best available migration data.
