COLUMBUS, Ind. – Heritage Fund-The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County (HFBC) announced Tuesday that it had recently awarded $65,295 in grants from its unrestricted Community Fund to local nonprofit organizations as part of its fourth-quarter grants cycle.
Gleaners Food Bank was given $15,343 to support the Senior Mobile Food Pantry in partnership with the Salvation Army of Columbus. Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation received $17,500 to support the Counseling Counts program. Thrive Alliance was awarded $15,764 for new customer relationship management software and $16,688 to support the new Social Call outreach program for Bartholomew County Seniors.
Each year, through the generous support of community members, HFBC distributes approximately $600,000-$700,000 in grants to local nonprofits from the unrestricted Community Fund.
