Suzi Wallace Fire, the 2019 Ms. Senior Davidson County queen, will finally have her extensive reign come to an end this year.
A contestant search is now in progress for ladies to compete for the title of Ms. Senior Davidson County, which was not held in 2019 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The contest will be held virtually, however, instead of in person. We know how important this pageant is to not only former queens, but new potential queens, said Christie Smith, senior center manager. So we decided to move forward with hosting the pageant this year.
Although it s not ideal to have the pageant virtually, she said the staff believes it is important to move forward and crown a new queen.
