ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Dec, 2020 ) :The Senate on Wednesday unanimously adopted a condolence resolution expressing deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Senator Kalsoom Parveen.
The resolution was presented by leader of the opposition Raja Zafar-ul-Haq in the House.
The resolution said the services rendered by Kalsoom Parveen for the country will be remembered for a long time.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Speaker Balochistan Assembly Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has written a letter to Election Commission and Chairman Senate for postponing Senate elections on the vacant seat of Senator Kalsoom Parveen.
As per details, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, in his letter has said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced election on the Senate’s seat which went vacant after the death of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s Senator Kalsoom Parveen on January 14.

President Arif Alvi leads the tributes to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz senator.
Tributes have been paid to Pakistan s Senator Kalsoom Parveen, who died on Sunday night after contracting Covid-19.
President Arif Alvi, Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and Information Minister Shibli Faraz, among others, mourned her death.
Faraz on Monday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Parveen.
In his tweet, the minister said the deceased, a Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Senator from Balochistan, was an active member of the upper house of the parliament, with positive thinking.
CM Usman Buzdar flays PDM for its selfish politics

LAHORE:Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Monday said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) attempt to politicise the coronavirus issue had ended in a fiasco.
Regrettably, the insensitive politicians have left no stone unturned to put the lives of the people at stake for their temporal benefits, he added. In a statement issued here, he said the PDM was facing the consequences of its selfishness as people have left the opportunist cabal for its apathetic behaviour in the backdrop of the corona. Meanwhile, the journey of development and prosperity would be continued under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the PDM could not stop it, he added.
