France supports Taiwan’s WHO bid
‘HISTORIC MOMENT’: In a 304-0 vote, French senators also showed support for Taiwan to work with groups such as the International Criminal Police Organization

The French Senate on Thursday adopted a resolution in support of Taiwan’s participation in international organizations, including the WHO.
The resolution, put forth on March 27 by the Senate’s Taiwan Friendship Group, was passed with a vote of 304-0, with 19 abstentions.
French Senator Alain Richard, who is chairman of the group, said during a presentation of the proposal that Taiwan’s bid to participate in the WHO should be supported because of its outstanding efforts against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Paris [France], April 26 (ANI): Students for Free Tibet-France organised a protest demonstration in Paris on Sunday against China s continued detention of the 11th Panchen Lama.
On the birth anniversary of the 11th Panchen Lama, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, who was recognised by the Dalai Lama in 1995, as many as 300 protesters gathered at the Place de la Republique demanding his release.
