I should tape record everything she says and listen to it and take notes as maybe i can process all of the excellent information she provides. Give the warmest welcome to my great friend, kellyanne conway. [applause] hi iowa. Thank you congressman king for the great introduction. Thank you mom for writing it. [laughter] i am having a great day, how about you . They asked me if i minded speaking after Marsha Blackburn and donald trump and i said i mind if they are hungry. Im glad that you are eating. Carrying on. This is a remarkable event to me. I think this is how you connect to people and run for president of the u. S. You take your case directly to the voters who decide your fate and the fate of the nation. And i heard that there were 1200 committed ticketholders and about that number on a waiting list we came about 7 00 this morning and people were lined up outside. You had record attendance, waiting lines, people outside the door, lined up and i think steve king is the taylor swif
They are not the same people dedicated to producing the light, sweet crude thats produced in the oil sector, for the most part. So if you offer discounts to asian consumers at large so that they become beholden to your type of oil and they build refineries specifically dedicated troo processing your type of oil its going to be harder for them to switch to somebody elses oil down the line. So it makes sense to keep the price a bit lower right now so that asian consumers build up refinery capacity for medium and heavy sour sulphur rich, saudi type oil, and you try and guarantee your market down the road when you will be putting on the brakes and sending prices back up. Okay, this is kind of thinking about the supply and demand side of the market, but there are other factors that we need to think about that i think people dont often like to consider. And that is that the saudis, the qataris and their friends in the gulf on the sunni side of the aisle have created a monster. By funding rad
In the work force logger to leave sooner than they might otherwise. So i think that is one of the realities and as i started out with my comments, i think one of the big contributions Juliette Cubanski did with the study, being one of the first to look at the whole world and ask questions, how does this analysis of Public Policy change once you factor in the enactment of the Affordable Care act and its implementation in 2014 . This is a question for Juliette Cubanski. The kaiser study estimates spending of full medicaid coverage to everybody eligible for medicaid presume that 100 would get coverage. Questions both about coverage and cost. The study is done and we know what is going on in the real world, what are the more likely to affect on coverage and more likely effects on medicaid costs . I am going to broaden the question little bit and talk about the effects for all coverage sources. We assumed as i said that everybody who lost eligibility for medicare would take another source o
Several of us noteasseveral of e testimony of the 40 million records 96 of them come from the visa waiver countries or aspiring in which the requirement to populate the database is set. If the country becomes noncompliant what actions would you take . First would be the communication between the Program Office working with the components on hsi to point out the deficit and overtime we havent met the situation yet but there would be the authority of the secretarys office with secretary johnson to take steps to see that that effort was enforced in the law. We havent had this instance happened yet. What would be a realistic amount of time, three months or six months quick because of the importance to the security vetting we wouldnt want that to be an extended period of time. I know everybody seems to be in compliance right now but is there a hurdle to providing the information you hear from the partner nations . With regards to the visa as the chair pointed out at the outset of these are
Right now, medicaid primarily provides coverage in institutional setting. There is opportunity to bring move for people into the homes. I think there is an opportunity there. Inflation for last five years have gone up 4. 3 per year and it is the same for assistedliving inhome care which is only growing a little more than one percent. We need to think about inflation because if you picture of the maybe baby boomer, 68, needing care 15 years from now. If you look forward and you project 25 years from today when the bulk of the baby boomers will be at the age where they need care, at the current rate they cost 80,000 and dental floss to 200,000 a year in on average people need three years of coverage. Coming back to the public and private solutions, i think there is a lot of opportunities there to come up with insurance that is both public and private. We need more innovative products, lower cost products. Role for certainly a public insurance and public financing. Im looking forward to w
