Watson Rajaratnam, Region Director, Serving in Mission, East Asia, on Wednesday. He was speaking on the second day of the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang’s (ABAM)’s sesquicentennial celebration (150 years of Christianity in Naga Hills) at Impur, during the day’s morning worship session. ‘When we go forward with the mission, we are united, and with unity ABAM can send more missionaries, impacting Nagaland and the world,’ said the Reverend who spoke on the theme of the event “To God Be the Glory”. He also urged the ABAM leaders to go out as missionaries, saying that ‘leadership will come and go but the call to be a disciple and one who proclaims the gospel will ever remind with the Lord’. Our Correspondent Mokokchung, July 1 (EMN): Clark Theological College (CTC) in Mokokchung released a book titled ‘Educational philosophy for transformative Christian education,’ written by Dr. Moalila Jamir. The book was formally dedicated and released by CTC principal, Prof. A Temjen Jamir, during a programme held at CTC multi-purpose hall on Friday. The main thrust of the book was on constructing transformative Christian education in Nagaland context. The author has used educational philosophies of Afro-American liberation educationist, author and social activist Bell Hooks, and Professor Emerita of Theology and Education, Mary Elizabeth Moore.
