This session will be with two very distinguished guests today, two veteran reporters who covered the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Just by way of introduction, were in one of the most historic rooms in the capitol complex, the Senate Caucus room, now known as the kennedy caucus room is the room where the mccarthy hearings were held, the watergate hearings were held, this is the room where john f. Kennedy announced his candidacy for president. Its room where a lot of nominees have been grilled by committees.
