In 2009, the associations for the center of the association of the study of congress, which housed the records of senators and representatives decided we needed to do something to focus National Attention on congress. Not on the political side of congress, not on the current battles of congress, but on the institution of congress as a representation of Representative Democracy and how our federal government was intended to work and has worked over the last 200 years.
