Earlier, media reports claimed that the IAS officer ordered UP police to conduct an extensive search operation after her pet dog, a Siberian Husky was "stolen."
Selvakumari Jayarajan, however, said she had not sought the help of the police as her dog had “accidentally slipped out of the house” and was not stolen.
The search operation continued till Monday evening before the dog was finally found by a person, who came to know about the incident through social media platforms
