UVA Political Science Chair said the visit Harris and Raimondo to RI to sell Biden s infrastructure plan makes no sense.
University of Virginia Political Science Chair Jennifer Lawless said it “makes no sense” that Vice President Kamala Harris and U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo are coming to Rhode Island on Wednesday on a visit centered around President Joe Biden’s infrastructure proposal.
“It makes no sense I don’t think that Kamala Harris has to convince Sheldon Whitehouse and Jack Reed that this is the thing to vote for,” said Lawless, of Harris and Raimondo coming to Rhode Island instead of focusing on swing states.
