SOUTHWICK – While Select Board members don’t typically respond to comments made by the public at the start of each meeting, after a resident expressed her “extreme disappointment” in how the order the articles will appear on warrant for the upcoming Town Meeting, two members did.
The Southwick Select Board increased the yearly transfer station permit during its meeting Monday night to offset the town increasing waste-handling costs.
After hearing the list of proposed articles to be included in the upcoming Town Meeting scheduled for May, Select Board Chair Russell Fox reacted with a shake of his head and a smile.
