The China-Central Asia Summit will be held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province on May 5-18. The presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will be invited to attend the meeting. This is the first time since the establishment of diplomatic relations 31 years ago that the heads of state of the six countries have held a summit in physical form. People from many countries believe that the summit will draw a blueprint for deepening cooperation between the two sides.
