KUALA LUMPUR: The mother of Muhammad Daniel Akmal Zulkhairi, 14, who ran away from a secondary school dormitory here due to alleged bullying, will lodge a police report soon over the incident.

Two Malaysians have not only done themselves proud but their country as well after they made it into world-renowed Harvard University s undergraduate school, Harvard College.
Both 20-year-olds were selected out of 57,435 applicants and emerged part of the 1,968 students selected. That s 3.4 percent of the total.
Muhammad Hamdi Ahmad Hakimi and Jarell Cheong Tze Wen will now be enrolled in the Ivy League school s undergraduate class of 2025, according to the Harvard Club of Malaysia.

PETALING JAYA: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has congratulated the two Malaysian students who have been accepted to study at Harvard College in Massachusetts.
He expressed his happiness and pride over Jarell Cheong Tze Wen and Muhammad Hamdi Ahmad Hakimi’s outstanding achievements.
“This in turn has raised Malaysia s name at the international level. The success of the two youths once again proves that Malaysia is capable of producing individuals of quality, authority and of international standard, he said.
“This success also proves that with commitment, high spirits and hard work, Malaysians are able to compete and succeed on the international stage, ” added the King in a statement posted on Istana Negara’s Facebook.
