A 5.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Lau region this morning.
The Seismology Unit of the Mineral Resources department stated the earthquake occurred at 3.11am.
The seismic activity was recorded 136 km SSW from Doi village, Ono-i-Lau, 386 km SSE from Vunisea, Kadavu, and 450 km SSE from Suva, Fiji.
According to the unit, the moderate earthquake occurred at a deep depth of 597km, and it did not pose any immediate tsunami threat to the region.

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Lau region this morning.
The Seismology Unit of the Mineral Resources department stated the earthquake occurred at 8.12am.
The seismic activity was recorded 80 km SouthEast from Vatoa Island, Lau, 142 NorthEast from Doi village, Ono-i-Lau, and 472 km SouthEast from Suva, Fiji.
According to the unit, the moderate earthquake occurred at a deep depth of 507km, and it did not pose any immediate tsunami threat to the region.

A 5.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Ono-i-Lau region this afternoon.
The seismic activity was recorded 112km East from Doi Village in Ono-i-Lau, 259km West-northwest from Nuku’alofa in Tonga, and 495km Southeast from Suva.
The Seismology Unit of the Mineral Resources Department stated that the moderate earthquake occurred at a deep depth of 393km, and it did not pose any immediate threat to the Fiji region.

A 5.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Ono-i-Lau region this afternoon.
The seismic activity that occurred at 1:57pm was recorded 397km SouthWest from Doi village, Ono-i-Lau, 533km South Levukaidaku, Matuku, Lau and 666km SouthEast from Suva, Fiji.
The Seismology Unit of the Mineral Resources department stated that the offshore earthquake occurred with a deep depth of 557km and does not pose any immediate tsunami threat to the region.
