Seismic activity but no eruption

Head of the La Soufrière Monitoring Team, Volcanologist Dr. Adam Stinton, has confirmed that there has been no recent eruption of the La Soufrière volcano.
Speaking on NBC radio on Wednesday, Dr. Stinton said that contrary to a WhatsApp message in circulation, I can categorically say there was no eruption at the volcano on Tuesday night.”
He did confirm, however, that there were some seismic activities overnight and that the volcano continued to be in a state of unrest with continuous steaming and emission of gas.
