Please join the Student Friends of the Princeton University Library for our third event of the semester, a tour of the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library's current exhibit, “Princeton 275,” with exhibition curators April Armstrong and Rosalba Varallo Recchia. This exhibit commemorates the 275th anniversary of the founding of Princeton University through unique historical materials from Princeton's archives, including the original charter of the College of New Jersey from 1746 and 1748. The exhibition focuses on how the only constant in the history of this university is change. To learn more about the exhibit, click here. This tour will take place in the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library, and the group will meet in the building's lobby. Twelve spots are available for this event for members of the Student Friends, and a waitlist will be enabled. The tour will be followed by an optional lunch in town from 12:15 - 1:45pm (RSVPs for lunch will be handled separately).
A series of events honors the 50th anniversary of the Third World Center, now the Carl A. Fields Center, and the Women s Center, now the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center, for their legacy of community, identity, collaboration and inclusion at Princeton.
