The hospitality industry in Michigan may not look the same once the COVID-19 pandemic ends the president and CEO of the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association recently told a group of Novi business people.
Justin Winslow spoke before a few dozen people during a City of Novi morning event April 22. Addressing the small group gathered at the food court at Twelve Oaks Mall the first in-person talk he said he had done in more than a year he discussed the state of the hospitality industry and the challenges it has and will face in the future. The level of shuttered industry has been our reality for a long time and its impacts are felt acutely right now, and I think they re going to be something that we re going to feel as an industry as we re adapting to for a long time to come, he said.
