Covid fine for Kettering restaurant over family function which led to brawl

During the incident a 29-year-old man was attacked by three other men and hit with an ashtray, before being taken to Kettering General Hospital with a head wound and visible bruising. A 28-year-old woman suffered minor injuries but nobody has been arrested in connection with the incident and a police investigation remains active , a force spokesman said. Kettering Council has since confirmed that Sedir has been given a £1,000 fixed penalty notice under emergency coronavirus powers for breaching restrictions. A police spokesman said no personal fines have been given at this time to those who attended the function.
