Beacon Sunday League round up: CTS keep title hopes alive

CTS United kept their Beacon Sunday League title hopes very much alive with another vital success over visiting Sporting Black Country this week. New boy Tony Agnello stole the show, notching an impressive debut treble, as CTS (Coseley, Tipton, Sedgley) hit their latest Concentric Sales & Lettings Western opponents for six with three goals either side of the break, writes Dave McLean. United, who have games in hand on all their main challengers, need to win their remaining three games if they are to claim their second successive league crown. Their latest three point haul was secured thanks to further efforts from Owen Harris (two) and Tristan Pritchard, with Scott Pearson hitting Sporting s sole response.
