SEBEWAING As plans are being drafted for construction and upgrades from bonds voters approved earlier this year, some of that money will be used sooner than expected.
During the election last August, district voters approved the request for a $2,570,000 general obligation bond. Funds from the bond will address a wide range of projects from: academics, roofs, science equipment for classrooms, technology, engineering and math, curriculum development, security and more.
But some recent device failures, including cameras that are considered essential classroom equipment, will force the district to get a head start on replacing some technology. The district will purchase devices from Precision Data Products for $276 per device for a total cost of $4,140.
