Picture: UK GOVERNMENT THE latest Covid infection rates for the North-East and North Yorkshire has been listed by each postcode area - as the majority of the region sees a fall in cases. Latest Public Health England data, published on February 2, shows where exactly cases are up and down as we mark the first month in the third lockdown. The figures, which show the picture in the seven days to January 30, compared to January 13, has revealed where exactly cases have surged. Across County Durham, Darlington, Teesside and North Yorkshire, some areas have seen a huge spike with cases doubling in the space of a week.
