Special service of Uzbekistan foils attempt of smuggling of drugs from Tajikistan for $100,000
AKIPRESS.COM - The State Security Service of Uzbekistan foiled the attempt to smuggle drugs for $100,000 from Tajikistan.
The drugs were found in the car bound from Bekabad district to Tashkent region driven by a native of Sughd region of Tajikistan. The seized drugs included 1.879 kg of amphetamine, 1.822 kg of opium and 4 kg of hashish.
Security agents detained a man in Namangan district, who attempted to sell 1 kg of hashish for $14,000. Hashish was smuggled to Uzbekistan from Tajikistan by a national of Kyrgyzstan. 802 g of opium, 2.917 kg of hashish were found in the house of the man in Namangan district.
