would be tremendously problematic. if that happens, i think that deal is off. so they re really in a very bad situation here. i mean if that deal is off, they have already admitted to their complicity in those crimes there with the campaign finance crimes cohen was charged with, so they re right back facing those. they have no defense to that. on top of that, you ve got the possibility of new investigations going on with regard to the extortion. and then perhaps the most intryii intriguing aspect is why is mr. pecker so upset about the saudi connection. if you find a money trail back to the saudis, we know that ami has been interested in getting saudi funding and there could be issues there in terms of foreign money influencing the election. shan, this claim made by bezos security chief, who s very well known in the security realm that he believes it s possible that a government entity may have gotten ahold of bezos text messages, the most obvious question is which government entit
finally realizing what is in the letter and not liking the coverage of his resignation letter pushing him out now, and that is not sitting well with republican and that could cause a new issue with congress. yeah, you have very serious members of the house and senate who are strong on the military. senator tom cotton, for one, who certainly has taken issue with this. others in the senate security realm, we have our u.s. envoy that deals specifically with isis that recently last week said isis is not decimated, and it s not time to say mission accomplished yet and now he is leaving based on he has a different world view when it comes to national security then president trump does. it s really important that we look at a long-term strategy with regard to isis. at some point, yes, we need to pull out of the areas, but now is not the time to do so. when you are losing top military officials, and some national security leaders who have been on the same page with the
former law enforcement and intelligence colleagues to get to the bottom of this and to take the appropriate actions. i have been contacted by the folks in the security realm, letting me know what they are doing. so, this is something that i think all americans who really cherish our freedoms and our liberties really should be outraged over and try to do everything possible to bring that the level of discourse down so that we re able to engage in a very constructive and productive way to make sure that this country is able to realize its full potential, including on the political front. donald trump made a statement earlier today in which he said, i just want to tell you that in these times, we have to unify. we have to come together. and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the united states. we live in a very divided
when he has unilateral authorities that come with the office. whether it s the pardon power or executive actions that he s able to take, or this, where a president does have the power to decide who gets access to the nation s biggest secrets. however, there s a protocol that typically would take place if someone s security clearance is revoked, and former officials often maintain their security clearance for years after their time in service, because sometimes they re consulted by the government, or sometimes they move on to do work in the security realm, and if there are no challenges to that security clearance, they can maintain that for an extended period of time. and political views and speaking out have never been on the list of criteria that would permit someone to typically have their security clearance revoked. so does the president have what some referred to as an enemy s list? one of the new questions surfacing because of this. certainly brennan is saying he has concerns that
