spending more time here than most of the guards will in their entire career. walking through the first of many outer gates, there s no mistaking this for a minimum or medium security facility. stateville s reputation is well known. from what i hear, people killing each other and stuff like that. you got to go in with guys doing life and stuff down over here. hear a lot of bad things about this penitentiary. kind of scary. because you re going to be here and you see how it is, like, maximum security and stuff like that. so i m going to stay to myself, man. hope for the best. let me get up out of here. inmate walton and officer white make up the opposite ends of stateville.
glass door that opens. he ll go out, do his hour of rek lation. come back in. he has a shower in his cell a little slot for his food. no reason to leave that cell unless it s for a special visitation and when he does leave that cell, it will be in manacles, handcuffs, shackles, et cetera. wherever he goes, people will know who he is. will he be singled out for scorn for the guards? definitely for the guards. i feel like they ve been one upped. that he got one over on him. he did manage to get through the highest security facility in new york state. what will they do? there s numerous things you do. you don t feed them. they skip chows, do stuff. throw stuff in your food when they do feed you. they don t give you your recreati recreation. they will turn your water off in your cell so you can t use the shower, can t use the sink. you go to the bathroom but you can t flush it.
welcome back. this week on my sirius xm program. i wondered if anyone in my audience were rooting for the two killers that escaped from a new york maximum security facility facility. that might seem crazy given richard matt and david sweat are two horrible low lives, convicted killers. well you might be surprised by what some callers had to say. listen to this one. deep down inside every time there is a news release saying we re so close, we ve got dna. we know where they are. we re hot on their tail and then another few days go by. inside i sort of have this warm feeling that the authorities are just chasing their tails. a small part of me is pulling for the bad guys. several people also tweeted at me their support for the prisoners. joanna said ha ha unfortunately my husband and i in that group.
