A World Radiocommunication Conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) opened in Dubai on 20 November and will last through 15 December. There are over 30 items on the agenda.
Pavel Muraveiko informed those present about the unprecedented deterioration of the global situation, about the main trends of development of the situation around Belarus. He spoke at length about the measures being taken in response to modern challenges and threats.
“Today the country's national security system is ready to respond to any risks, challenges and threats,” Pavel Muraveiko said. “No one is immune to surprise attacks and despicable manifestations, but the special services of our country, all the bodies of the national security system have learned the lessons of the past."
On 3 May the Research Institute of the Armed Forces of Belarus hosted a regular discussion of the national security concept draft. The event was attended by Pavel Muraveiko, as well as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Defense Minister Viktor Gulevich.
