The CIS member states should join efforts to resist external political and economic pressure, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko told journalists following the session of the CIS Heads of Government Council.
After the meeting with the Belarusian head of state, the CIS Heads of Government Council will proceed with its session. Its program includes one-on-one and delegations-level meetings, with 11 issues on the agenda.
"On the suggestion of Kyrgyzstan, the next meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government will be held in Bishkek on 12 November 2021," Sergei Lebedev said.
In the afternoon, Aleksandr Lukashenko is scheduled to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi. During his parliament speech on 26 May, the Belarusian head of state outlined the agenda of the Sochi talks - the focus will be on the economy, joint projects in various fields, as well as response to external pressure and sanctions.
